 Version structure of the business continuity software
Three software versions
The business continuity software available is available in three fully upgradeable versions: the Business Continuity information, the business continuity Gold, and the Business Continuity information.
The business continuity product suite consists of three interrelated versions of the Software. All three software versions use the same data file structures and have similar security and audit features. The business continuity product suite offers Users a range of flexibility and functionality to meet the specific needs of the purchasing organization. The Software versions are fully scalable with easy upgrading from one version to another.
Business Continuity information
The Business Continuity information is intended to provide a basic starting point for introducing Business Continuity concepts within the User’s organization. The Business Continuity information system would suit small organizations with minimal manpower resources with a focus on process resilience and crisis response rather than people crisis management or could suit larger organizations who are new to business continuity planning. Details and descriptions are kept to the bare minimum. The Business Continuity information includes a practical response to BCMS management requirements; mapping organizational components together; risk analysis, dependency and BIA features; resilience status and effectiveness; and incident response handling. Additional functions in this version include the ability to record and report on descriptive details for all main organizational components; contact data for employees and other stakeholders; communication planning and alternate asset & resource planning.
Business
Continuity Gold
The business continuity Gold provides an extremely comprehensive solution to the development of an organization’s Business Continuity management system. Adds a significant array of additional functionality to the Business Continuity information. This is the ideal system for BC / DR professionals; for organizations who intend to achieve excellence or best practise; or for persons assigned with responsibility for business continuity who require quality software with extremely flexible functionality. The business continuity Gold includes all the functionality from the Silver version plus BCMS budget handling; BCMS resource team management; BCMS meetings and interview handling; setting up risk treatment enhancements; and a fully functional command center.
Business Continuity information
The Business Continuity information is the ideal tool for managing business continuity requirements for multiple clients. A clever re-linking control panel allows the User to move from one client’s data to another client’s data with ease. An unlimited number of clients may be handled from within one license. The Business Continuity information includes all the functionality from the business continuity Gold plus the re-linking control panel. This product is a must for BC Professionals who look after multiple clients or for BC Professionals who look after multiple subsidiaries that require different back-end data bases for each subsidiary.
Updates
Updates to the software are made available from time to time and these updates are available free for existing license holders. The update files will be for the front-end software only and if applicable for your systems will also include an updated example data file. It is essential that Users back up their data files frequently as no responsibility or warranty is provided by the Licensor for lost data or non-retrievable files for any reason.
