Notification instructions  

 

  Setting up and maintaining notification instructions

This area of the BCMS allows the setting up and maintaining of notification instructions for key vendors and suppliers. 
Clicking on the "notify" icon displays the following pop-up:

 

A notification plan identifies who needs to be notified when a disruptive event occurs and normally provides up-to-date contact details to ease the process of contacting people. In addition it is useful to know at what stage of the emergency and in what priority order each person should be notified; how each person is best contacted outside of normal working hours and even within normal working hours; and how often they need to be kept informed during the disruptive incident.

Clicking the expand button produces the following pop-up:



This larger screen enables the display of more lengthy instructions regarding specific notification requirements.
