Setting up a notification plan 

This module is for developing and maintaining a notification or communication plan for use in a potentially disruptive incident. The selected potentially disruptive incident is displayed at the top of this screen. To change the selected incident, close this screen and select an alternative potentially disruptive incident from the list box.

The left hand list box contains a list of identified potentially disruptive incidents. This list can be sorted in alphabetical sequence or by threat type.  The right hand list box contains a list of persons who need to be notified in the event that the selected incident occurs. This right hand list box can be sorted by first name; last name; job title; or business unit. Additional people can be added to the list by clicking on the " Allocate people who need to be notified if the potential incident may disrupt or affect their activities" button.


Allocating persons to the notification plan

This screen supports the allocation of persons to actual incidents. The left hand list box contains the persons who have been allocated to be notified during this incident. The top right hand list box includes the potential incidents that have been allocated to the actual incident and the second list box on the right contains the planned persons who are to be notified during the selected potential incident. The bottom right hand list box contains a list of all available persons who may additionally be added to the list of persons to be notified during the selected actual incident. The left hand list box displays the persons who have been already allocated to the selected incident. This list box can be sorted by first name, last name, or job title. The right hand list box contains either employee information, key customer information, key supplier information, or other key stakeholder information.

The User can select one of these our options by clicking any of the four radio buttons at the top right hand corner of the screen. The people listed in the right hand list box can be sorted by first name, last name, job title, or business unit/company name. To add a person in the "People who need to be notified" list box select the contact group and required person from the right hand list box and click the white "Allocate in" arrow. To remove a person from the "Notify" list select that person in the left hand list box and click the white "Allocate out" button.


Viewing descriptive information about the selected potential incident

The "Details" icons displays descriptive information about the selected potential incident.



Clicking the expand button displays the detailed descriptive information in a larger pop-up.
