Risk treatment types

Viewing and managing risk management types

Clicking the "Type" button at the top of the list box on the main screen in Module 7 opens up a pop-up window that supports the adding, deleting or editing of risk treatment types.

The pop-up window contains a list box that shows all existing types.

Add new risk treatment type

To add an new risk treatment type click the "+" button.

In the new pop-up window, enter in a new two character type code and the new type name, and click the "Save" button. The "Cancel" button may be clicked at any time to return to the previous screen.

Delete selected risk treatment type

To delete a risk treatment type, select that type and click on the "-" button. The system will check whether the type is currently in use and if not, a pop-up will appear asking you to confirm this action. Once confirmed the type will be removed from the system and the type list box will be updated immediately.

If the User selects not to confirm the delete action the system will return to the previous screen. If the type selected for deletion is already in use, a pop-up will appear informing the user accordingly and on clicking "OK" the system will return the User to the previous screen.

Edit selected risk treatment type

To edit a risk treatment type, select the item to be amended and click on the "Edit" button. A pop-up will appear displaying the information to editing. Edit the information and click on the "Save" button.

Once saved the type list box will be updated with the edited details immediately. The "Cancel" button may be clicked at any time to return to the previous screen.
