Audit log iconThe Business Continuity information keeps a record of each and every data change within the system. Audit logs are displayed in the Business Continuity information by module. This area displays the transaction data audit log for this module. The data is sorted by date and time with the latest entry at the top of the list box. The information includes the name of the User who has access to the business continuity software to provide a proper audit trail. Clicking the "Audit Log" icon produces a pop-up at the bottom of the screen containing information about recent transactions that have been entered into this module of the business continuity software. The latest transaction is at the top of the list. Information recorded includes the User entering the transaction, that date/time of the transaction, the list box item selected when the transaction was effected, the item or field affected and the action taken or new text entered. ![]() Expanded view By clicking on the expand button you can view a larger of records on the screen. This is useful when scrolling through large numbers of entries. ![]() Viewing each audit log entry To view the full audit log information for a specific transaction, double click on that transaction and audit record for the selected record will appear. This information shows the value of the record before the last change and the value after the change. It shows who made the change and the date and time of the change. This information can be viewed in the expand screen or the normal screen.
