Business impact analysis for mapped product, service or other critical objectives

Clicking the BIA button in Module 4 displays the following information:

The right hand side of this pop-up displays the related products, services and other critical objectives together with the calculated BIA values assigned to that component. These values have been processed as part of the BIA process in Module 3 where the User selects up to five impact categories for each product, service or other critical objective. The User then assesses the expected likely impact in each of the pre-set time periods arising from an unexpected interruption to the mapped critical objective.  Using the radio buttons, the User can select to display the five time periods in either hours (hrs) or days. The default setting is hours. The User can change the impact categories and the impact time periods, on a system-wide basis in the "BIA set up" area to customize the BIA settings to fit the needs of their own organization.

The products, services or other critical objectives that would be affected from a disruptive incident to the selected asset or resources are listed in this area. The BIA impact ratings for each BIA period for each mapped product, service or other critical objective are also displayed in this area. This data is displayed in Module 4  for information only. Changes can only be made to these BIA values in the BIA assessment area of Module 3.

The overwrite vales shown in the left hand side of this pop-up are explained in the next section of this User Manual.
