 Wizards
Using the Business Continuity information Wizard data entry area
This area contains an alternative set of data entry screens for updating system and data tables. Most of these data tables can also be updated from screens located elsewhere in the BCMS and a few are only updatable from this table Wizard area.
Clicking the Wizard icon launches the Wizard functions. The following list box will appear.

This top left list box contains a list of system and data table types. These are used for grouping the tables together in a logical fashion and are also used to drive the contents appearing in the lower list box. The bottom left list box contains the system or data tables that correspond to the system or data table type selected in the upper list box. This list box also drives the descriptive field and enables the User to open the selected table Wizard for adding or editing data.
Choose the system or data table that requires editing and click on the "Open selected edit area" button. This will open the table wizard for the selected table in a separate window. In this example we have chosen to open the potential hazard or threat wizard.

Choose ont of the three options are on offer : Add, Delete or Edit.
Delete an item in the Wizard
Select the item to be deleted and click the delete button. The following confirmation pop-up will appear.

Click "Yes" to delete the item and "No" to cancel the delete action.
Add an item in the Wizard
To add a new item through the Wizard, click the required hazard or threat type and click the Add button.

The screen will offer a blank field on the selected type. The User may change the selected type at this stage if required. Complete the name of the new item in the blank field and click the "Save" button. If the User decides not to add a new item at this time then click the "Cancel" button.
Edit an item in the Wizard
To edit an item through the Wizard, select the item to be edited and click the Edit button.

The screen will offer the current information for the selected item. The User may change the selected type or edit the name and then click the "Save" button. If the User decides not to edit the selected item at this time then the "Cancel" button should be clicked.
